If youāre looking to make this cocktail virgin, nix the whiskey and substitute it with apple juice – youāll still have a fantastic cocktail that is perfect for every guest.
This Fall Cocktails recipe is called The Apple Pie Harvest, and it can be found at Oak & Ivy in Downtown Las Vegas. They have so many incredible cocktails on their menu, but this recipe I fell in love with.
If youāre looking up Pinterest-worthy cocktails for Thanksgiving, this is it.
The Apple Pie Harvest
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Whiskey
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz. simple syrup
3 dashes of apple bitters
3/4 oz. egg white
Apple and brown sugar for garnish
Many people worry about an egg white in cocktails, but itās similar to whipping up egg whites for meringue. Itās safe to drink, but be sure to use the dry shake method (no ice) and a wet shake (with ice).
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a shaker and dry shake (no ice) to fluff the egg white and combine all the ingredients.
Next, add ice to chill the cocktail.
Strain the cocktail over ice into a glass.
Broil the slice of apple with sugar and butter – I put mine in a pan with butter and brown sugar and it works great.
There you have it. It is an easy cocktail, and itās perfect for Thanksgiving. No judgment if you drink this year-round – itās good!
Cheers and Happy Holidays!
