The heat in Vegas is unreal, but hey, welcome to the desert.

Las Vegas Summer Temperatures
I guess you can’t truly escape the Las Vegas heat unless you travel out of the state, but who wants to do that? Las Vegas is awesome.
If you’re making a trip here, there are a few things to keep in mind during the hot summer months.
Less is more – meaning, don’t wear a whole lot. Stay hydrated, and find activities indoors.

Here are my top tips for staying cool while visiting Las Vegas:
1. Make use of the hotels on the strip
Walk around the casino because they always stay super cool and it is the biggest distraction from the summer heat.
2. Stay Hydrated
Since Vegas is a desert, it is so important to stay hydrated. Especially if you plan on partying at a day club or lounging by the pool. Dehydration sneaks up on you! Also, limit your alcohol since it dehydrated your body.
3. Timing is everything
If you can, get all your sightseeing done early in the morning or around evening time. Stay indoors as much as possible.
4. Listen to your body
If you feel like you are overheating, don’t overdo it. Listen to your body if you start to get dizzy or nauseous. I’ve experienced heat exhaustion myself and it is not fun. Since Las Vegas can reach triple digits, be smart about spending time outside.
5. Indoor Pools
I always overlook the indoor pools, but WHY?! They are there for a reason.
Oh, and this might be weird, but bring a sweater… the air conditioning is insanely strong, and as much as it is hot outside it gets cold inside. Just me? Please tell me I’m not the only one in the comments below. Ha!
