After staring at the same Netflix roundup, it can become a little annoying trying to find what to watch next.
I know many of you can relate.
If you’re at home wondering what the heck to watch next? Check out this list.
Now, you’ve probably heard of many of these before, but let this be your sign to jump in and press play!
These are great for couples, single gal, a group of friends, etc.
What to Watch on Netflix
The Queens Gambit – There was some skepticism at first with this one. I’ve never been a huge chess fan (maybe because I have no clue how to play), but wow was this a good one! We pretty much binge-watched the entire series in a day. The beginning was a little slow for me, but just keep pushing through the first episode and you will not want to stop. The main theme of the series is Chess (obviously!) but it also presents love & addiction.

Emily in Paris – Girlfriend! If you have not yet seen this, what are you waiting for? My fiance and brother even liked this one. Some may consider it to be a girly show, but there are so many witty moments that will have everyone laughing and appreciating. Emily lands her dream job in Paris and you will feel like you’re exploring the city right alongside her.
Grab some ice cream, popcorn, comfy clothes, a blanket, and dive right into this show. In conclusion, it is seriously so good. Can’t wait for season 2.
Dynasty – Thankfully this show has three seasons otherwise I would be so sad after the first. The seasons just get better and better. If you’re familiar with the original Dynasty, then you pretty much know what this is all about. If not, Dynasty follows the lives of the Carrington and Colby family who feud over control of their mega fortune and family. Both families plot against each other which results in a whole lot of drama!

Outer Banks – This is one of those good Netflix shows that you didn’t think you’d like, but you actually love. Outer Banks was another binge-worthy show for me that I absolutely loved. My mom and I saw this together and we fell in love after the first episode. I was skeptical at first because the cover photo was not my cup of tea. lol! I thought it would be scary for some reason…turns out, it’s suspenseful, not scary. This show follows the lives of local teens who get into some trouble but work together to overcome a life-altering event. The best way to describe the show is mystery and adventure.
Money Heist – First things first, the show is in Spanish. However, Netflix does have a feature that lets you switch to “English.” Just expect the voice and mouth to not sink. This took me forever to realize and I’m slightly embarrassed admitting this to you right now… Anyways, follow along as eight recruits pull off the biggest heist to print billions of euros from the Royal Mint in Spain. Without giving away too much, Money Heist is full of drama, thrill, and romance. Rumor has it that there is now a Korean adaption of the show.
If you’re a super fan after watching, I found some cool merch on Amazon.
Bridgerton – If you’re not into period dramas, I still recommend giving this a go. Seems like all of Tik Tok has seen this show, but if you’re one of the few that hasn’t, let this be a sign to press play now. I watched this with my fiancé (after a lot of convincing) and he insisted we continue watching after the first episode. Cosmopolitan describes the show perfectly →
“The period drama about debutantes finding love has the costumes of Pride and Prejudice, the drama of Gossip Girl, and the steaminess of 50 Shades of Gray. Bless you, Shonda Rhimes. Bless you.”
Designated Survivor – This Netflix series is a political thriller drama series about the designated survivor for the United States ascends from the U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to the President of the United States after a big explosion on the Capitol building. The seasons take you on twists and turns as you figure out who to trust in the White House. Rotten Tomatoes gives this a 71%, but I give it a 90%.
