5 Ways to Virtually Visit Las Vegas

Virtually Visit Las Vegas

It’s no secret that we are all missing our cities. Ever wonder how you can virtually visit one?

I’ll admit that I am missing my city a whole lot right about now. It is so weird seeing the Las Vegas strip empty, ordering take out from restaurants I love to dine in, and watching the local news document what the town looks like without people. Eerie, am I right?

I am sure many have postponed their visits to Las Vegas so I am here to share with you ways virtually visit Las Vegas.

So many companies have been generous enough to entertain people from their homes and for that, I am so so thankful.

Cirque Du Soleil put on a show for viewers to virtually watch from the comfort of their couch, The Bellagio posted videos of their fountain show with music by Tiesto, and the Mob Museum gave a virtual tour of their museum.

So you see, there are so many ways you can stay connected with Las Vegas. I understand that it’s not the same, but it’s a great reminder of this beautiful city and the things we get to look forward to once we are out of quarantine.

Please try to stay positive during this time and remember that it is all temporary.

5 Ways to Virtually Visit Las Vegas

1. Behind the scenes of Cirque Du Soleil – If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a cirque performance, here you go!  I’ve researched the best Youtube videos to give you the ultimate behind the scenes experience. It might not be the actual show, but it sure is cool to get a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes – especially in the water shows. Ever wonder how in the world they hold their breath for so long? Yeah, me too. This video shows you exactly how they do it! The Beatles LOVE show also takes you on a tour of the “world of love.”

Mathew Rodrigues takes you through the show and even gives you a glimpse of the costume department.

Lastly, this 45-minute video of the cirque performers really gives you a glimpse as to what it takes to get booked for a show and a performance.

2. Virtual Museum Tour – The Mob Museum and the Neon Museum have taken their time to give YOU a tour of their museums. If you’ve been interested in these museums in Las Vegas, now is your chance! This is a great way to virtually visit these museums, but next time you visit Las Vegas I highly recommend checking these places out in real life. I have been multiple times and love it. It is fun, informative, and a great way to get in the history of Las Vegas. For a behind the scenes tour of the neon museum (at night) click here.

3. 60 Minute Cirque Du Soleil Special – This made me smile!! For fans across the world, Cirque Du Soleil published an exclusive special for everyone to watch from the comfort of their home. Grab your wine, popcorn, hot chocolate, jammies, and your comfiest blankets and watch these performers fly across your screen. It is truly a sight to see. In fact, I think I’m going to watch this again right now… Enjoy!

4. Bellagio Fountain Show – Ok, what?! People fly from across the world to see this show and now you can view it from home. I still recommend seeing it in real life at some point, but this will do for now and will certainly give you that Las Vegas fix we all need. Check out the video and let me know what you think.

And I am curious to know your thoughts on the music – Does it fit the vibe? If you got to choose music for the show, what would be your #1 pick?

5. Virtual Las Vegas – This is pretty cool. To be honest, I don’t know whether this was a thing prior to everything shutting down but now you can check out the streets of Las Vegas. If you’ve ever wondered what the Las Vegas Sign looks like or what is surrounding it, you can see it all live.
